It’s happening this year September 12-17th and runs in conjunction with the Toronto Film Festival.

“The Canadian Music Cafe is an impeccably curated music supervisor and film executive dream event.I am so impressed with every aspect, from the caliber of musical talent, both emerging and established, to scheduling and execution. There is no better way to discover music than through live performance and what the Cafe manages to do so beautifully is host an intimate event that delivers top-notch music while providing a platform for music and film executives to connect with talent and keep the creative conversations going after the festival. That’s what it’s all about. The Canadian Music Cafe during the Toronto Film Festival is one of the best in the business. Period.”, says Tracy McKnight, Music Supervisor (The Hunger Games, Beasts of No Nation, Casting Jon Benet)
The Canadian Music Café is a joint initiative produced by the Canadian Music Publishers Association (CMPA) and the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) whose mandates are to support and advocate for the Canadian music publishers and the Canadian independent music community respectively. CMPA and CIMA graciously acknowledge that the 2017 Canadian Music Café is made possible with the support of the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) and the Government of Canada’s Department of Canadian Heritage.
